After rule 31 of the original regulation, the following rule 31A. Added:- “31a. Selection of auditors: For the purpose of selecting auditors, the metropolitan and sub-metropolitan municipalities shall list the names of the auditors by publishing a notice in the daily newspaper of the national level and the municipality in the newspaper of regular publication at the local level, calling for applications from the appropriate category, and from among the auditors so listed, according to section 135 of the Act, the auditor shall be selected. A choice must be made
